Daisy bread with figs

  • 1 daisy bread from HUTTWILER glutenfree
  • 100g creamy goat’s cheese or lactose-free cream cheese
  • 225g figs
  • 8 thin slices of prosciutto
  • 40g watercress
  • 8 cherry tomatoes
  • 0.25 red onion
  • 1tbsp olive oil
  • 2tsp balsamic vinegar
  • Coarse sea salt

It’s as easy as this

  1. Prepare the daisy bread according to the package, cut into slices and toast in the pan with a little oil.
  2. Slice the skins of the cherry to- matoes and bake in the oven until the skin starts to peel off.
  3. Then spread the bread slices with the cream cheese. Halve the figs, cut the onions into thin rings and arrange everything on the bread slices, along with the ham, watercress and whole tomatoes. Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the bread, sprinkle with coarse sea salt, dig in and enjoy.


The recipe is also great as a starter or for a picnic.
